All I know right now is that Dave might be coming home this weekend. I'm writing to say,"thank you" to a few important people. Without Bryan, Mike, & Don of S&S construction(giggle) this would never have happened. Thank you guys so much. Special thanks to Gumble Bro.'s for the supplies. Their donation saved Dave & Sharon over five bills in expenses.

Also, this was a busy weekend for everyone else!
Sharon's sister Wendy & her husband Scott and Dave's brother Bob made over 200' of chain-link fence appear as if over night!
Wendy is now registered as a dominatrix (kidding).
And now for Dave & Deb DeBerdizzle; I know you've been there every bit you can. I'm in awe as to how you've taken Dave in to your family. Whatever happens, I'm so glad to know it's you that has Sharon's behind through this.
As a small aside, Sharon's dad does a bit of remodeling.
This man has single-handedly renovated the first floor of Dave & Sharon's home.
I know Sharon would say," Thanks for bringing Dave home."
...and I know that would go out to everyone who helped.

However, I must say that since our paths really didn't cross much while we were at Sharon and Dave's that someone must be filling your ears with stories of our time there....Sharon???
ReplyDeleteAll joking aside, as hard as the work was we all left last weekend with a great sense of accomplishment and it felt so good to have helped anyway we can. If it weren't for our lives calling us back (work, kids, etc.) we would have stayed all week to keep helping.
Matt - I also wanted to thank you. You are an exceptionally great friend to Sharon and Dave. Not only for the ramp but for the continuous support that you have given both of them throughout this whole thing. They are both very lucky to have you in their lives.

i cannot believe what scott and bob and y'all got done in just a few days. i wish i could also say that i cannot believe that Molson can jump right over that fence, but one out of five's pretty great, no?

all i want is for everyone to be able to RELAX and enjoy a meal together soon.
with the exception of Dave & Deb, i really didn't know Dave or Sharon's families before this. i'd have picked any other situation to meet them; it's my pleasure to know you all now.
